I worked in the oilfields for 2 summers, after high school, helping perform these fracking operations. I didn't know any better. Others I worked with might've known better, but what was their alternative? I'm not talking about those at the decision-making level--those who are responsible for knowing better--but about those at the level of implementing somebody else's decisions. What power do they have to say, "This is a bad idea, and I'm not going to participate"?
