Super Bowl

Well, the Giants won.

I don't really care.

I did get to eat some fantastic curry chicken at Meggie's, though, with Josh and Lori and drink some Gnarly Old Vine Zin. 'Ole Vine Zin.' Reminds me of a song to sing at New Year's.

Last night was Thai night with Mary Ann and Jamie and Anna and Kaijsa and Hank and Tim. And peanut sauce with chicken on a bed of spinach and lime-mint-cilantro chicken soup and massaman beef-and-potato and some fantastic cannolis with mango sauce. And iced thai coffee. I'm a big fan of the cardamom.

Curry weekend! So good! As Jamie said, the new thai place in town will have a hard time beating our menu.

citizens arrest

What are the rules for citizens arrest? Specifically, if there's a girl talking on her cell phone, with half her car windows frosted over, who doesn't wait her turn at the four-way, would I get in trouble if I pulled her out of her car and slapped her with her phone a couple of times? I suppose that doesn't quite count as citizens arrest. Vigilante justice, maybe. Whack, whack! In less aggravating news, tomorrow is the last day of classes for the semester. Finally. It's been a long time comin' this fall. I really should start thinking about the trip to WV and AZ and start planning some Christmas gifty-gifts.

Damn! All my training is for shit! Here is a clever sign, but I can't explain why. Is this an example of irony? And if it's irony, is it dramatic irony? Or situational? Maybe verbal?
